Pakleds |
Species of characteristically heavyset and technologically
advanced humanoids. Although initial contact with the
Enterprise-D in 2365 suggested the Pakleds had limited
intellectual capacities, this was found to be untrue, and
the Pakleds further demonstrated considerable cunning in
attempting to capture Enterprise-D engineer Geordi La
Forge. Pakled interests owned a magnesite ore mine on
planet Kalla III. In 2370, the Duras sisters illegally
mined the deposit without the Pakleds' knowledge. A Pakled
spacecraft rescued Lore after he was transported into space
in 2364. Subsequently he adopted traditional Pakled
clothing styles |

Platonians |
Humanoids, originally from the Sahndara star system, who
patterned their society after the teachings of ancient Earth
philsopher Plato. When their star, Sahndara, exploded
millennia ago, 38 individuals fled their doomed world,
settling briefly on Earth during the time of Plato. When
the Greek culture faded, the Platonians moved to another
planet, which they called Platonius. Here, they
accidentally developed powerful psychokinetic powers from
ingesting native food containing kironide, a rare and
powerful element found in the food. The Platonians remained
unknown to the rest of the galaxy for centuries until their
leader, Parmen, fell ill in 2268 and summoned the Starship
Enterprise to provide him with medical care |

Prytt comprised one-quarter of the population of the
planet. During a Federation investigation of the planet in
2370, Starship Enterprise-D personnel reported the Prytt to
be reclusive almost to the point of xenophobia. The Prytt
did not even possess a communcation network capable of

responsible for the abduction of Captain Jean-Luc Picard and
Dr. Beverly Crusher. Also known as the Prytt Alliance
